Jorj Clothing was established in 2004 as the brainchild of Lynne Newbury the founder and managing director. The Jorj brand is synonymous with the latest fashion, beautiful accessories, fabulous "girlfriend" gifts and is sure to provide each and every visitor with an experience full of smiles, friendship and fun conversation.

At Jorj it's not only the great prices that will make you smile.

Lynne's fashion flair has been fine tuned during her 22 years in the industry as a buyer for some of Australia's best labels and more recently as the founder of Sobi a boutique chain of 5 stores on the Queensland Gold Coast.

Having worked for international fashion companies, buying and selling fashion Lynne has a global vision and connections across the globe enabling her to remain at the forefront of popular fashion trends.

Jorj product is sourced from a number of local and international designers with some imports from China, India and United States. Lynne is a strong believer in supporting Australian businesses so whereever possible she deals with local wholesalers in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Lynne has always wanted to combine retail fashion with "Girlfriend" get togethers. The Jorj Party Plan was introduced in early 2007 and has become a great hit allowing you to catch up with your girlfriends, either in the store or at home, and have a fun private fashion party afternoon full of laughter with your friends.

Jorj currently has two locations in Brisbane and the Gold Coast with more to come soon. The Brisbane store is situated at the southern end of the Stones Corner fashion precinct opposite the 4KQ radio station and our Gold Coast store is in Australia Fair near the northern end of the food court.   The Southport Store is owned by Darryl Tom, who is currently living in Japan and managed by Nikki Little.
