St. Valentine <3

Valentines day is drawing near yet again and we are calling all hopeless and non hopeless romantics! Whether you‘re dining out with your lover, sipping cocktails with your girlfriends or getting cosy on your couch with a tub of ice cream and a marathon of Ryan Gosling flicks to get stuck into, we want to show you what's on trend this coming Winter and how to look hot with or with out a boy on your arm!

There is very strong colour pallette coming through and colour blocking still very prominent. We are still loving the bright bold colours such as coral red, mustard and orange that is flowing through from Summer but we are now seeing lots of deep maroon and burgundy mixed with brighter purples, turquoise and moss. Of course these are still along side the staple black and white; but also mixed through with beige and earthy tones. See the August Street Rustic Spirit Maxi Skirt and Roadhouse Crop Top for the beautiful turquoise and earthy tones. for the stronger maroon and moss colours coming through see Cameo Weave Me Skirt and Cameo Fortress Drape Vest.

A bit of bling is still shining through bringing a bit of sparkle to the bold block colours. Gold, mat sequins are still strong- See the Lumier Sequin Front Top. This top is perfect for these transeasonal months, especially in our warm state of QLD. The sheer back gives it a soft and airy feel and is very versatile with how you can wear it. With a pair of denim cut offs and flat sandals it is perfect for the end of those warm Sunday afternoon drinks, or wear it with your favouriite black skinny jeans, a structured blazer and some killer heels and it's ready for a Winter night out in the city. The mat sequins are the main focus of the outfit so don't over do it with accessories, leave out the necklace and add some bold earrings and arm cuff.

Touch and feel is just as important as the visual asthetics! Different textured fabrics are making our buying and styling experience that bit more interesting (as if shopping for ourselves wasn't already exciting enough!) See our Pink Stitch Tea with Penny Pant and Top for a gorgeous textured Damask fabric. Or try Pink Stitch Blackbird Mesh Top for the very unique little mesh tank layered with fake leather detail. These textured fabrics really do steal the show, so like we said before less really is more, let the fabric work for you not the other way around! See how we have styled this gorgeous pieces on our website.

Follow these simple styling tips and we're sure the boys will be falling at your feet in no time.

Happy Valentines Day - We hope cupid is kind to you this year!
